Serendipity – Peace Comes From Within
Today was another day full of proof of why things happen the way they do, and confirmation that even though we don’t always understand why we are where we are when we are there, there is a fine and perfect rhythm to the world that moves to its own melody. I met a wonderful man and was compelled to ask him how his day was going so far. I had already asked the usual pleasantry, “how are you” and he said I am fine, without eye contact. I truly was pushed by my inner self to ask him then how his DAY was.
To which he replied, “My day is good. If my day is not good, there is something wrong with me.” It was wonderful. It sang to my soul. Rang true to my total being, and the teachings to which I studied so many years ago. “I am Buddhist, I am from India,” he said with further explanation.
“Oh, that’s just wonderful and perfectly fine,” I replied. “I too studied the Buddha for just over four years a long time ago. I follow Christ now but I think we are all on the same path of enlightenment.” We smiled at one another. Realized we needed to meet and connect, speak to one another. It was tremendous. How I love this plan. This earth. This force that allows us all to be together.
“I need to talk to you,” He said. “Yes, I need to talk to you too! I really hope to! Here is my card,” I provided him with one of my Reiki cards. I am so pleased to be able to share that now. To be free. To be liberated from the confines of corporate worship, liberated from judgement, from within myself even, I am finally, at last, free.
Chapter 2 – A Course In Miracles – Continues this message of today : “But remember the first principle in this course; there is no order of difficulty in miracles. In reality you are perfectly unaffected by all expressions of lack of love. These can be from yourself and others, from yourself to others, or from others to you. Peace is an attribute in you. You cannot find it outside. Illness is some form of external searching. Health is inner peace. It enables you to remain unshaken by lack of love from without and capable, through your acceptance of miracles, of correcting the conditions proceeding from lack of love in others.”
With gratitude and humility, my heart stirs with love.
